Another droid has been activated

I just got my Droid 2 Global up and running yesterday and its awesome!!!dancedroid
Its a great upgrade since i came from a motorola rokr e8 which was a cool phone too.

I can't wait to delve even further into my phone, and possibly flash it with a rom not quite sure yet

Welcome to the forums and Congrats on the d2g. Currently there is only one rom available for the global but hey there's also a recovery file. Anyway if you have any questions alongside the way don't hesitate to ask.

Ok so i have found a apk file of a live wallpaper from the nexus s that i would like to install
i copied the apk file directly to the root of my sd card and when i launch it to try to install from the files app that came loaded in the phone i get this message: Parse Error- There is a problem parsing the package

Is there something i am doing wrong?

I have rooted the phone if this helps

No that sounds about right. Can't remember what causes parse errors but if you can link me I'll see if I can get it to work.

*I have figured it out, in that forum there was an updated version further down the topic, and that one works just fine.
