Another "not receiving texts or calls" thread

but they're slightly different than mine.

I recently got a Droid 2 a couple months back. Three times in the past month or so, I haven't received texts or calls that I should have. I assumed it's because I had 0 bars (a rarity) and Verizon just doesn't allow non-service messages to be "caught-up". I.e. when I had ATT, if i had 0 bars, once I received service again, I'd get some texts and missed call/voicemail notifications that I guess were "stored" until I got service. Is this not the case for Verizon? Or is something wrong w/ my Droid just not receiving texts/calls on rare occasions.

Anyway, I know the call/text was sent to me b/c the sender said I was ignoring them (it was 3 separate senders, so it isn't just like 1 person lying to me lol). But, obviously, I wasn't ignoring them, I just never got the text or call...or even missed call notification.

So is this a Verizon service thing? Or a Droid 2 problem? Thanks

Happened again today. Apparently, my friend tried to contact me all day. My phone was on, full service yet no notifications. I texted him to test it, he texted back just fine.

What's going on??
