Thanks to our enthusiastic member KaChow, we now have another leaked pic of the LG G3 to share. This one is intriguing because it suggests that some version of the device will come with a removable battery and a MicroSD Slot. Of course, there's one caveat with this leak... even if it turns out to be legit, there's no guarantee a removable battery version of the phone will come to all markets globally. It could end up being a niche product for a select few markets.

We will continue keep an eye out for any info which might come before May 27th.

I'm not an LG fan but I'm definitely a fan of more companies releasing phones with SD slots and removable batteries!

I used to think a removable battery was a must, but the G2 changed my mind. As long as the phone isn't totally sealed and isn't a huge pain to pry open, a removable battery isn't that big a deal. There are enough ifixit type sites out there to get instructions from.

Yeah the easiest I fixit is a battery pull.... Nothing beats a quick reboot with a simple Battery Pull...

Haven't needed to do one of those in over 2 years. Maybe I'm lucky.

Although rare, I still have to do it on occasion. I figure it's a combination of custom roms and not enough ram (1gig) for how I've set-up my home screen. Although usually I can do it with ADB from my computer instead of pulling the battery.

For me, having a removable battery is a must.

I have never once found myself wishing for a removable battery with the G2. Theres just no need for it.

on the move..

I agree. Even though in nearly 7 months now with the Note 3 I have yet to do a battery pull, I still want the option of having an extra battery or to get that 10,000 mAh battery and be able to just switch them. Need to be different than that fruit company in as many ways as possible.

SD card slot is too important to me as well. Changing phones with as many GB of music I have on my device would be a time consuming task to have to upload to a new device all over again. Insert card into new phone...done. Not to even mention pics and other items that I would want on a new device.

Come to think of it... last year I didn't get the G2 because of no removable battery or expandable storage which were 2 features Samsung consistently offered. Granted the G2 is a solid device, but had it offered those features it would've been more attractive to more users. Let's hope the G3 does this.

The pic shows a removable battery and a micro SIM slot. Am I missing the micro SD Card slot, or is the OP wrong?
