So I decided to root, with the main purpose being able to get free wifi tethering. I downloaded the Wireless Tether app in the Market. To my dismay, it only offers ad-hoc tethering. The company that I work for prohibits ad-hoc connections. I know the phone is physically capable of infastructure, as the factory 3G mobile hotspot app works perfectly (if I pay $20 per month for it).
My question is, is there an app out there that is similiar to Wireless Tether, but that will allow what I'm looking for? Free or pay-for (as long as it's not a monthly subscription).
