Any Google Maps tips and tricks?

Are there any google maps tips and tricks out there? Like I remember seeing a picture where it shows a view as if you're in the car navigating you on the screen.

We're on a road trip and it just seems like some of the "views" i guess seem limited.

Are there any tips & tricks to Google Maps/Navigation?

Not sure what you mean by this. Can you clarify?

The app is limited (it's also in beta). If you need other features then check into the other GPS nav apps.

Routing options are a bit hidden. IIRC, you can access them via the menu after you get to the point to where you can click on the Navigate button.
