Any of your Droid froze after the UPDATE?

After my phone was done with the installation, it tries to restart and the screen just froze.

screen has the white circle with the "M" motorola sign.

Did you pull the battery? Haven't heard of this happening to anyone yet.

Yes, i pulled the battery out and installed back in. Then turned on the power on and goes back to the same screen.

I would visit a local Verizon store. Did you do the update manually or did you receive over the air?

I received it over the air.

I will go to a local Verizon store after work. Damn sucks to be without my phone! I wonder if i'm the only one that has this issue?

When I updated, it took forever for to get past the M screen.

How long did it take you?

I thought at first it was just lagging so i left it. I installed mine last night at 11:30 pm and I woke up at 8 this morning to see the same thing. Black screen with a white circle in the middle with the "M" motorola sign.

oh geez, not nearly that long, maybe like 3 mins lol. Did you try turning it off or taking the battery out and putting it back in?

i did mine this morning and did not have any problems. i do like how everything runs a lot faster and smoother.

Dragoro: yeah i figured it should take that long to restart or install the update. yes i did take out the battery and put it back. still stuck.

Try turning it off, then start it while holding down x on the physical keyboard. When the triangle comes up press the camera button and volume up button at the same time (might take a couple pushes) thatll bring up a menu, use the physical cursor pad to select reboot.

ughhh i have the same problem my phone wont turn on... I tried a hard reset still no good.. Ima go to Verizon see what they can do..

after i updated it took about a good 30 seconds to get past the red eye, I then restarted the phone again and it was back to normal. no problems since.

I just got back from the VZ store.. They said all they can do is send me a new phone. So tomorrow ima have a certified preowned Motorola droid.
