any ringtone apps on market that are free?

You can actually just use MP3's that are on your phone as ringtones... Just go into your music player and long press on the song, a menu comes up with set as ringtone on it.

Well, I have no mp3 on my phone. I have no idea how to get them on. As you can tell I am very new to these smartphones. Any tutorials showing how to do this?

Mount the device on your computer and make a file named "Music" and then go get astro or ES file manager and you can play with it form there on how to do it. [cause I havent doen it yet! lol]

Download the app "i Music" it allows you to either download or stream any mp3 you want, and once it's downloaded you would be able to use that other program to edit it into a ringtone.

Hook your phone up to your PC with the USB cable, swipe the notification bar down and select USB Connected, then select Mount, that will allow your PC to find the SD card as a new drive, now go into My computer and find the drive that is the SD card on your phone, make a folder called Music and copy your MP3's into it. Once the file transfer is done, go back to your phone and swipe down the notification area again and select Turn off USB Storage and select Turn Off to unmout the SD card from your computer (This is an important step, dont forget it). Done, your MP3's should be available in the music app now.
