Any way to "delete previous" texts like on Blackberry????

First off I love my Incredible, but I do miss some features from my Blackberry. Namely, being able to "delete previous" texts by date. Right now I've noticed it's either all or nothing (and no I don't want to delete each individual text).

Does anyone know of a way to delete a thread by date, so I can for example delete the previous week's worth while still keeping today???

John you could "lock" the ones you want to keep then delete threads and unlock. Does that make sense?
