any way to stop wmy phone from sleeping every 10 min

So im trying to listen to music on my tv through the webtop but every 2 songs my tv looses the signal and my phone starts to blast music because it has gone to slepep. And in the settings the options are up to 10 min with no none setting. Is this just another bad sticky ice cream sandwich bad joke?

You can go into developer options and choose for screen to never sleep, but it has to be charging.

They took out the never sleep option to prevent screen burn in...

I wish the apps would have an option to keep playing even after screen times out... as far as music goes you really don't need the screen on...
Iheart does fine with screen off, but some of the others do shut down...
