Anyone else feeling like Asus messed up big time? (Transformer Prime)

I had planned to snatch one of these bad boys as soon as I had the opportunity to. Yet, as the majority of the people interested in the Transformer Prime already know, shipping dates have been fluctuating from left to right (IMO and based on everyone's email letters ranging from tiger direct to amazon having different shipping dates). I have come to the conclusion that Gulp*; since the iPad 3 is basically around the corner... Might as well wait? What do you guys think? I'd like to hear other people's opinion!

If you want Android, and insanely good graphics get the Prime. If you want a unified music/apps/multimedia experience on a simplified platform, get an iPad. From what I've heard the screen is going to be very high resolution. Take that with a grain of salt because people though the iPhone 4s would have a holographic display. Since im an Android junkie, I would get the Prime, but the iPad might just be your thing.
