Anyone try Polaris for documents?

I tried it and it forces closes. This app was part of the bloatware. Would not work. But another app for Microsoft office docs seemed to work. How are they going to include a worthless app in the bloatware? I thought that at least would prove useful. Not!

Polaris works fine on my phone, but I no longer use it. ASTRO File Manager is much better. Try it out. I guarantee you're not missing much with Polaris. It's a really "bare bones" document reader.

Hmmmm, I'll give astro a try. I didnt expect polaris to work like a charm, but it sucks that they forced it upon us and it just didn't work for me.

Yeah, I agree. If they're going to force it on you, it should at least work.

If you decide to install Astro, be sure to check out the "Application Backup" feature. It backs up all of your applications on your SD card.

Polaris Office Deleting Files Help!!

I got the Rezound after taking back my Razr a few days ago. Love the Rezound so much more. The Wifi alone is soo much more powerful as it reaches the far corner of my backyard. With the Razr, I was getting low strength one room over from my wireless router.

Anyway... This Polaris Office app that comes with the phone. I really like it except for one thing! I can't delete any of the excel files once they are downloaded from my email. I tried everything. I held the file for a few seconds..nothing. I hit the settings key which allows me to edit, share, print, and everything else under the sun except delete!! I don't need these files piling up storage space on my SD card.

Anyone know how to delete files from Polaris Office? Is this a bug?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Drew
