Anyway to make contact photos look better?

The contact photos in ICS are larger than previous android version. While they look fine in a thumbnail view, when you open their contact info the larger photo is atrocious. This also makes the caller ID really bad as well.

I've always added photos from contacts.google.com. Anyway to make these photos look more presentable?

Thanks, I'll try it out.

Seems like the issue will be resolved in Jelly Bean. So, not too much to worry about.
