Anyway to remove icon backgrounds?

Love the rom only thing i dont like are the backgrounds on the icons. Actually it would be great if it just made the icons larger and not have any background on them at all.

But at the very least is there a way to remove the background images on the icons?

photo shop or gimp make the backgrounds transparent. or replace the icons in framework-res with stock ones. have fun.
