Apex 1.4.0 - Wallpaper Change

I'm keeping the stock theme (mountains wallpaper/background) on my DX running Apex 1.4.0.

I had a custom wallpaper that I used pre-Apex ROM, but for some reason, it's not working now under Apex 1.4.0.

To be clear, I don't want to download a theme (Watermark'd, BWC, RevBlu, etc...). I just want to change my wallpaper.

I've tried going into Settings, Astro, Gallery, File Manager and each time I "Set Wallpaper", there's no change and I still have the mountains in the background.

It happened to me yesterday. Had to reboot phone to get new wallpaper. I picked the new wallpaper then rebooted.

BTW, how do I get back the stock mountain wallpaper?
