Apex Launcher "Add Widget" text does not show.

When I long press on the homescreen and choose "Widgets" from the popup list using Apex Launcher, the text for the widgets doesn't show up. ( I can get the text to show when I touch the screen).
I'm not sure if its a setting, or if that's just the way it is with the new OTA ICS. Anyone else experience this or know a fix?

No. No luck. Dev didn't know either. I've tried a few other launchers too and they all did the same thing. Weird thing is I put it on my Acer A500 and it works fine.

It's because of blur. The text is white with the white background.

Sal, sounds right! Any suggestions on a fix? It's a major PITA.:icon_eek:

Only ways are:
1) if big red issues a patch fix or
2) root and fix the package that calls the popup. Its just a matter of finding the apk and changing the background image from white to black.
3) root, install a bootstrap/safestrap recovery and install a new ROM that has that fixed.

If you are rooted, you can install the app "app widgetpicker" and it will fix this problem.
