app for not undoing 5 minutes of typing

Often I'm typing using the virtual keyboard, and accidentally hit one of the four buttons at the bottom, like the "back" button, and end up losing what I'm typing. This happens too often, and it seems that I can't be careful enough to not do this. I've given up typing more than a short message. is there as app for locking out those buttons while typing, or something like that?

never heard of any such app... just be more careful?

I wouldn't mind these buttons being locked when typing. I pressed the back button trying to upload a photo to Flickr. Had to go through it all again. And I was done, I thought I pressed "upload" but hit the back button.
