App Search

I'm going to be living in New York City this summer and being from New Jersey, I don't really have a handle on the subway system just yet. On my iTouch, I found an app in the Apple App store called iTrans NYC which is basically my template for what I want. iTrans NYC uses my location to find the nearest station and even directs me to it, tells me how many stops on the train, what stations to get off and transfer at, and where to walk to get to a destination. This is all accomplished by plugging in your start and end locations like in Google maps. I would love an Android app that did all of this instead of me having to find the nearest subway location in google maps, taking the train, and searching the station for what routes it offers. Does anyone know any apps that do this?
