App Status Bar Icon Identifier

Does anyone know what app leaves an icon which looks like a grey speech bubble with a smiley in it in your status bar?

Is that an app text message symbol? Bc I don't get that icon when I get texts I get a grey envelope

the grey envelope should be the alert for emails. when you get one of those notifications, use your finger to swipe down - that brings down your notification pulldown screen. then, you can just press on one of the notifications, and it automatically takes you to the app. so, next time you get a grey envelope, use the pulldown and see which app is opened. same thing for the smiley face icon, and see which app opens up.
