App to turn blinking light off?

I know this may sound insane, but does anyone know of an app that turns the blinking light (for email, SMS, apps, etc.) off so the device can go totally dark during certain hours? I'm a super light sleeper and love my dock (to hide the charging light), but the blinking when a message comes in drives me insane! I know you can turn it off for each app using it, but to do that every night/morning would be a royal pain, so I'm hoping someone's developed a "lights out" app - any suggestions? Thx.

i want to turn off that silly 'charging' light, which is actually much brighter than then notification leds... there really needs to be an option/app for that!

I wish there was a way to turn that light ON with OUT having the usb plug in it, I don't want to accidentaly fubar my USB port fumbling for it in the dark.
