App won't install

Few days ago, there was a notice to update the apps Directv and SpeedView. I downloaded the updates. Now they both show they are Installing w/ the Grey bar & won't go any further. I've had updates on other apps after these & they've never got stuck on 'Installing'. I've tried rebooting the phone & even took the battery out for a few minutes. Still nothing.

Any ideas?

Yep, sure do. Settings/applications/manage applications/all applications/Market/clear cache and data. That should fix you up.
