Apps go to phone storage first... then what?

Hey guys, is it my understanding that with the S4 all apps we download will go and be stored in the phone internal memory until the phone determines it is full and then (and only then) will we have the option to download and store new apps on the SD card, and no sooner. Unrooted btw. Thanks.

Samsung is pushing an update soon that will allow us to save to sd card. I think its being pushed in Europe now and to US soon. As of now, we cant save apps to sd.

They had a news article on the home page the other day that Samsung has already came up with a way to store apps on the SD card. Over seas phones will get the update first but we will see it sooner or later. I don't think that functionality you speak of is available right now, I think if you run out of space you will have to remove things until we get that update.
