Apps not installing

Hey everyone,

I've had this problem for a while now. None of my apps have been able to install recently. This includes apps that I'm trying to update or just download from the market. I should say that the app will download completely, but will error out of the installation and report that the 'Installation of this App was unsuccessful".

I have tried clearing the data and the cache from the market, but that did not fix the problem. I'm running SS 4.8 from a Droid, and I was hoping someone out there knows of a cure! Thanks

Set Apps2sd to auto or off.

In terminal type "a2sd auto" or "a2sd off" without the quotes of course or use ChevyNo1Tools and select "Scripts" and toggle through apps2sd until it pops up "set to auto" or "set to off"

Didn't work. I tried installing some apps with the script toggled on and off, but they did not install either way. Kind of weird!

I've had this issue before too but I can't remember what solved it. I'm old and I've slept since then. LOL.

Sorry, I tried. If I remember it I'll post back.

Settings/Applications/Manage Applications/All Aplications/Market and clear both data and cache.

How are you installing the ROMs? Update.zip method or ROM manager? Wiping or no wipe?

Most recently, I updated without wiping, and I went to reboot recovery to install the update.zip. All of those processes happened without error, it's just the market that has continuously been affected.

Settings/Applications/Manage Applications/All Aplications/Market and clear both data and cache.

That sounds right and I think I rebooted and had to let it sync with the Market after.

I tried this method again to no results. I went to settings and cleared the data/cache and then rebooted. Is there a special way to initiate a sync with the market? Or does that happen on its own?

There are a couple of apps on the market that won't install on my phone. Theres a message that says could not install on SD CARD. Any help here on this? Is there something I'm doing wrong?
