Apps not showing up in drawer?

Every time I install a new app it shows that it's installed in the notification area, but it doesn't show up in the drawer. I can, however, launch the new app from the notification area, and it works just fine. This just started happening recently. Anyone know of a solution?

Try doing a reset and see if that works, I haven't encountered that problem

I have, and that's the only way it will show up

I did a battery pull, and also a hard reset, and a factory reset, and still the same thing. However, I am using GDE. Now I am noticing that when I do download an app and it installs if I press the button on the screen to pull up the drawer it won't show up, but if I press the Menu key on the phone and select Application>All Applications it will show up then. It's kind of tedious to go through this whole process, is there a fix for this?
