Apps on the SD card can't be run.

For some reason, none of the apps I have installed on the SD card appear in the app drawer. When I check the applications in the settings, and click on the SD card tab, I see the apps listed. However, they are listed without their icons, and in a format akin to "com.google.earth" and "com.opera.browser."

How can I get my apps up and running again?!?
