Assisted GPS getting Disabled

Does the Assisted GPS and "Use Wireless Networks" get toggled when I toggle the GPS from Tasker or Locale? It seems to be turning off unexpectedly.

I am having all sorts of issues with the GPS as well! 80% of the time it is finding satellites! When I went to my settings and the options to use towers is greyed out. In fact all three buttons are dissabled. I went to the Verizon store twice and they cannot give me any answers. I am getting very frustrated.
