Astro and home network?????

I have a linksys wireless router and i would like to connect by using astro to my windows 7 network. Does anyone have any clues or suggestions on how to do this. I try to add a new connection (in astro) through SMB and it asks for more info than i have. To get my droid connected all i do is select the network and give my password and I am in. What am i doing wrong or missing? Any help is appreciated thanks.:icon_eek:

I can't help you much, but at least I can get ou in the correct area.

I think this is the first time I've seen this question asked. My first thought is no way, but I've thought that many times and been proven to be wrong.

I use Estrongs File Explorer and it connects to my PC via wifi flawlessly.

I don't use Astro so I don't know how to set up the connection with that app... but In Estrongs all you have to do is enable wifi, then select the LAN tab in the app, and then menu > new > scan... it should find your wifi network then connect

also don't forget to enable sharing on the folders on your PC that you want access to.

Awesome! works great.

My wife's DX supports and plays many video formats such as .avi is there a way to allow my D1 to also play these through the Estrongs File Explorer?
