Things are going good over at Asustek. They just posted rising profits for the third quarter, and most of that was due to strong sales of the Nexus 7 that Asus manufacturers for Google, as well as strong sales of their own Transformer series of tablets. Here's a quote with a few more details,
Asus had a strong quarter beating market analysts’ expectations. The company’s net profit stood at around $229 million (NT$6.71 billion), on revenue of around $3.81 billion (NT$111.4 billion).
Asus now expects growth to continue throughout the Holiday quarter with tablet shipments reaching 2.6 million units.
Apparently Samsung isn't the only manufacturer who can turn a profit on Android.
