At IFA in Germany, one of the more intriguing devices revealed was the Asus ZenWatch Android Wear device. Unfortunately, it looks like its initial release will be in very limited quantities and very limited markets. In fact, according to the latest report, we will only see 300 ZenWatches sold and only in Taiwan at first.
The most interesting thing about this particular Android Wear device is that it seems to have some fairly beefy specs, at least compared to other smartwatches. Here's a breakdown:
- 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400
- 512 MB of RAM
- 4 GB of storage
- 1.63" screen with a 320x320 resolution (278 PPI)
- Gorilla Glass 3
