Here's a quick news bit that we didn't quite get to yesterday because it was overshadowed by the monumental Lenovo/Motorola story. AT&T is now offering a $100 bill credit to anyone who opens up a new qualifying line with them. Here's a quote with more of the details and a source link to check out AT&T's offer:

Here’s how it works

Whether you already have an AT&T account, or you’re choosing AT&T for the first time, there’s more than one way to receive a $100 bill credit.
  • New and existing customers are eligible when you activate a qualifying wireless line
  • Add a new line for any smartphone, feature phone, tablet, wireless home phone, MiFi puck, or other connected device
  • You must remain active and in good standing for 45 days; your credit will be applied within 3 bill cycles

It seems that T-Mobile has been "poking the bear" long enough that it woke up and started getting competitive...

When they start offering unlimited data, then we can talk, until then, they can try to fool people as much as they want, at the end of the day, it's the data that matters.
