The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active just showed up "in the wild." This time it isn't just a few lame blurry-cam shots either, it showed up in HD (and even 4K) video! To be clear, this is the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active model version SM-G870A, which is the model for AT&T. It features a more rugged external shell, but internals similar to the vanilla Galaxy S5.
What is most intriguing about this device is how similar it is to the regular SGS5 version. It makes us wonder why Sammy didn't just skip the "band-aid" version and go straight for this one as their full flagship. Of course, production costs (and capabilities/parts inventory) might be different for this device than the less rugged version.
Either way, the video is pretty well done and definitely gives us a good glimpse of the phone. What do you think?
