Audio drop-outs/data errors

After replacing my new Raxr Maxx after less than a week for audio drop-outs using streaming wifi or recorded music from my card, my replacement phone is exactly the same. The music intermittently drops notes and even more intermittently, buzzes for less than a half second. (Intermittent is about once per minute.) This is clearly an audio decoding defect that needs to be quickly addressed, before I return it and go back to using my Droid X that never had this problem.

BTW, I was a senior audio service technician and trainer for about 30 years, so I know what I'm hearing...

If your music is stored on the SD card and since the problem shows up on both phones it may be your SD card.

If you re-read my original post, I wrote that the WiFi streaming and prerecorded music have the data errors on both RAZR Max phones. I never had this symptom on my old Droid X. I have since discovered that it appears that the phone is running out of RAM.
