Audio issues

Sorry if this is the wrong area, but I'm having an issue with my music player and some of my apps. The issue seems to be that the audio when I play music and some games comes from the ear piece and not the speaker phone speaker. It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does I can hardly hear my tunes. Am I doing something wrong?
