Auto-brightness level mod

Does anyone have a way to modify the auto brightness level? The minimum is too dim on my Nexus. I remember some of the old D1 roms had a similar mod built in.....

auto brightness widget buy "curvefish" works really well, search for it in the market.

got it. it works nice if you want a pre defined level. The auto-brightness built in to it is still too dim. Would like to learn how to tweak this value...

I found the auto brightness too bright, so I set it manually to 12% and use a widget to turn it up when I'm outside if needed. I love Android and it's widgets!!

I just leave it at 35-40% which seems to work in most situations.

Yeah, I'm looking for the same thing. I still want the brightness to adjust automatically to light conditions, but I want it about 10-20% brighter for any conditions. The phone is too dim, especially in low light conditions.

I'll keep searching.
