Auto-Correct is gone

I rooted my phone yesterday.

Then I downloaded Titanium Backup and removed some bloatware (or what I thought was bloatware). I am unable to restore anything that was uninstalled.

I removed voicesearchwithkeyboard.apk and the android keyboard option went away completely, but I have reinstalled that.

One feature that I cannot get to work is the autocorrect in the regular keyboard. The option is checked, and still it is not working.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get this auto-correct feature working again?

Thanks

This is why removing bloatware is a bad idea. You didn't happen to make a backup before you uninstalled anything did you?

DroidForums junkie!

I did back it all up using Titanium but it apparently did not work or I did it wrong because when I went to reinstall/restore some of it, that was not an option.

fixed it. just read in another thread that I was not actually in android keyboard mode, i was still in swype mode. he to long press into the entry box and select android and it fixed the problem.
