Automatic Music Tagger??

Hi guys! I need some help with my music! Nothing I download seems to ever organize correctly, because so many of the tags end up being "unknown." I know I can edit the tags manually, but my song collection is massive and it would take me forever!! Is there an app I can download that will automatically tag them for me?? Also, most of my album art is blank as well, so if there is an app to do that too that would be great!!! Thanks for any help on this!

There are a couple of PC applications that can do this. I prefer MusicBrainz which can analyze and tag your files automatically. It doesn't really do cover art as well, but I use Album Art Downloader for that.

It sounds like MusicBrainz will also have an Android app coming out soon so you can do it straight from your phone.

Thanks for replying kookahdoo and Detonation! So can I use MusicBrainz with my phone plugged into the computer and it will organize THOSE files or just music on my computer?

In MusicBrainz, you just point to the folder you want to analyze/tag, so if your sd card is mounted then you should be able to. It will be slower though (obviously) and you'll want to make sure its not setup to move the files when they are renamed/tagged. Not sure if thats turned on by default.
