automatic subscription help

Every time I post on the forum, the thread I posted in is automatically added to my "subscriptions" so I get an email every freaking time someone responds to a post. I looked around the different forum settings and couldn't find anything. I am getting absolutely fed up with deleting individual threads from my subscriptions tab every single time I post somewhere, and this will probably be a deal breaker if it isn't possible to turn it off. So my question is, is there any way to turn off this feature?

Go to your profile and then User Control Panel (UserCP), then unsubscribe from the threads. Also go to options and click do not subscribe.

Thank you for that. For some reason, I didn't see that option in between the email and PM preferences
