Avast! scanning every app I update...

How do I make it stop? I have Scan Apps unchecked. It's really slowing down my phone. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Uninstall it. Anti-virus apps aren't needed.

I use it for the top notch anti-theft features. Couldn't care less about the anti-virus stuff.

Try checking the scan apps button and then closing the app. Reopen it and then uncheck scan apps. Close it once more and then install a new app to see if it still scans.
