Back to $179 upgrade on Amazon...bummer

I was just about to order the Rezound $49.99...put it on my cart last night... went to pay just now... back to $179.99. UGH.

I guess I'm waiting for the next wave of Verizon phones. Bummed. Just wanted to rant.

dang that does stink. What phone do you have now? I love my rezound especially coming from the bionic. I snagged it at the perfect time through Amazon. Did you try wirefly?

Right now I have a first gen moto droid. It's TORTURE to use!

I was going to wait for a next gen phone, but the $49.99 amazon price + $10 in amazon credit I have + Verizon announcing the $30 upgrade fee led me to choose the Rezound.

I guess I missed out.

(edit: Just checked wirefly...also $179.99) It looks like Best Buy at $199 + a $50 off upgrade discount they are giving is the cheapest option, but paying $100 more than I could have yesterday is not a good feeling...)

Ok, I just noticed this:

Backordered. Usually ships in 1 to 3 weeks

So they probably ran out of stock so that's they they set the price back up.

Nexus? hmmm...I think I'll wait but thank you for the suggestion.

It was actually backordered before the price increase to $180. I ordered mine shortly before it increased (whew!) and it's set to ship April 30 - May 8. I think they'd delist it if it went out of stock.
