Hey all just a quick intro, used Android since November 08 started with a G1 and performed all the software hacks available, switched to an iPhone for business use (music marketing/promotion) and I've happily made my return but I'm finding the rooted world a bit different on the Droid, more advanced and noob friendly though. I also like the fact the Droid has plenty of memory to avoid the hassles of apps2sd being necessary to run the latest and greatest roms and add ons.
