Backing Up Texts

I used to have a OG Droid and before i would flash new roms I would use a SMS Backup from the android market to backup all my texts. Then once my new rom was booted up it would restore all my texts in the correct order when each one was received.

But since I have the Droid X now i tried the same method but no matter which sms backup app i use the texts are all out of order when i try to restore them. Anyone have solution to this problem?

Bringing this old thread back from the dead.

I have this same issue with my Droid X. Using SMS Backup and Restore, all of my texts are out of order. I've yet to find a fix for this.

Anyone have any ideas?

I gave up trying to back up my texts after flashing many roms. I'm pretty sure you can use GoSMS to backup and restore texts. If I recall it puts them in order of time as well
