backing up with cwm recovery

why does it take soo long?!? coming from the OG droid with rzr recovery, the bionic takes 3-4x longer to back up. is this normal?

I noticed this too. My guess is that there is just a lot more data that is getting backed up i.e. webtop.

Kinda of. First of all, RZR was overclocked, and used gzip(?) which is quicker in general.

But yes, the backups of an OG were around 140-200MB and my D3 is about 500MB.
