Backlight App

Quick question - does anyone know if there is an app that will turn off the backlight for the menu keys on the Droid (I am talking about the four soft keys below the screen). I like to turn down the brightness on the screen when I use the phone as an ebook reader but these keys remain bright even when i lower the screen brightness. If anyone has a solution I would appreciate it.

Go to settings/sound & display/brightness and check the auto brightness box, that should do it for you.

This does not work when in dark places - the soft keys remain lite.

If you root there is an App Called LEDs Hack, lets you control LEDs off and on and set preferences.

My phone is stock and they sort of go off/on by themselves:icon_eek:
