Backup and Restore Apps

Just got the Droid Maxx. Havent rooted at least yet but even still there is no SD card which is where any backup I would have from my Razr. I have always used Titanium Backup Pro but dont know that it will do much now unless I am not thinking on the right path. Google Backup and Restore is check as it was on the Razr but so far over 24 hours and nothing restored. How is everyone doing this?

Thanks for your help

Go ahead and root with pwn 1.4.3, then use titanium pro. At least you'll have something. Hash has safestrap for the Moto X but the Droid side has some issues. It is very very close.

Thought about it but then not sure how to get the Razr apps over to the Droid Maxx. I just got the phone on Friday and have installed a lot of the apps manually without data. I'm trying to figure out why the battery doesnt seem that great though to. I can lose 6 % in a half hour and nothing seems to be pulling too hard when I look at the battery stats. I was loosing that much on my Droid Razr (the the Razr Maxx)

Most apps you really don't need to move the data. It may take a little extra time, but it'll be safer entering the data yourself. Other apps, like games, you can import the data carefully through titanium backup. I burned a lot of battery, too, when I was setting up my Maxx. Have something auto dim display when not needed, turn off certain radios when they're not being used, and other things, in order to save battery power. I like using Smart Actions, but when that disappeared, I'm turned to Tasker for automating system operations.
