Backup/kernel ?

If i do a nandroid image backup, will it save the kernel currently installed? or will chevyno1's backup (bkapps) do the trick?

i need to try other kernels because the current one works, but it extremely slow.

Yes an advanced nandroid backup will backup the kernel that is currently installed in the rom.
