Last night I charged my Droid with the stock Motorola wall charger before I went to bed. The battery level was 100% so I powered the phone down and went to sleep. When I got up six hours later I powered the phone back up and the battery level was at 20%.
If I had left the phone powered up for the same amount of time the phone would have had a charge level of nearly 100%. Generally, at the end of the day, (about 16+ hours off the charger and being used) the battery level is between 40% and 60%.
