Battery % and signal status without an APP

On Droids

Member
Notice alot of members here download apps for battery status and signal strength for their Droids. Just an FYI..the Droid comes with these two features already on the phone....

*Press menu from the home screen
*Press settings
*Scroll down to 'about phone' and press
*Press status

Battery level % status and dBm signal strength are on that page along with some other phone vitals

Only thing that bugs me about the stock battery indicator is that it only shows in 10% intervals.

On my 3GS, the % indicator when compared to the usage statistic was a good way for me to judge if my battery was draining too quickly.

True, but it's nice to know you have access to battery % without an app. As of now a good number of apps do weird things to these phones
