Battery Gets Warm

I have the extended battery & I get great life out of my battery even if its connected to Wifi all day. My problem is outside of home either work or elsewhere when it runs off of 4G or 3G..the phone/battery gets warm after little use. Also, obviously when it does that the battery life also suffers. Does it sound like a bad/defective battery?

my extended battery never gets hot unless i am heavy using while plugged in .. then it gets warm but not hot ..i would lean toward defective battery .

Yes. It should NOT get warm like that just because your on 4g or 3g. I have the extended battery as well and it never gets warm like that.

How long have u had your ext battery? I would exchange it if u could

Ive had it for a month, only problem is I bought it from Amazon. Im sure its the official battery though

Youre positive its motorolas oem battery? I got mine cheap directly off vzw site for only $20 3 weeks ago. I know aftermarket batteries are notourious for the problems you are having

Yes, 100% sure...I may take it to Verizon or just get another battery off of Verizon's website.
