Just replace my battery and everything works great except the battery level indicator. It displays a ? instead of the blue battery. I go to the settings and it is stuck on 80% and does not change either with charging or discharging. Does anyone have a fix for this. I replace the battery with the exact EB41 Motorola battery that was in it from the beginning.

Just as I posted this the phone turned off by itself and won't reboot.
I let the phone sit for a while without a battery in it, then I reinstalled the old bulging battery and it booted up right way and no problems. Why won't this phone recognize the new battery?
