I got my phone about a month ago. My battery life seems to be increasingly shorter; the other day, it was at 8%, and after only thirty minutes or so, it was at 55% (it usually takes longer to charge). It also lasts about 1 day at most, while it lasted for a lot longer when I first got it. I do use it occasionally while it's charging, which I'm guessing might be the problem. Is there any way that I can fix this?

Do you have a task killer?
What kind of apps do you have running in the background?

A month old battery shouldn't be anywhere near that bad.

I don't have too many apps running, but would you recommend any task killer/manager app? I'm not too tech savvy.

Don't use a task killer, that will definitely make your phone run slower

My taskkiller that auto kills proccesses which left running use added up 30% of my battery life , while only using 5% itself definetly will not make the phone go slower or use more bat than the alternative (no task killr)

I'm sorry but according to Google you're wrong. Look up what the Android Devs have to say about auto task killers. To summarize its "don't use them". Android has a native task killer and that optimizes memory use.

Free memory isn't always a good thing. Memory management on Linux and memory management on Windows are two totally different animals

Try something like juice defender beta, it seems to help my batterylife

stormchaser, can you list the apps you've downloaded? The most common task killer I've seen is Advanced Task Killer (the name makes it kind of obvious) but others are not so easily identifiable.

Maybe you can try :

Battery Booster (Free)
Boost Your Battery’s Running Time and Max Battery Life :icon_ banana:

what is this juice defender that was mentioned?

Its an app that saved battery life that has set options tto turn off data and things like that. You should check it out
