Anyone here getting more than 5hrs off the charger with minimal use? I unplugged the phone today at 1 and made a few phone calls and a couple dozen e-mails and it's not even 6 and I needed to plug it back in. Looks like I may have to look into an extended life battery or a spare battery since having an extension cord follow me everywhere I go won't work.:)

I took mine off the charger at 8 am, used it for multiple phone calls,at least 50 text msgs, browsed the net, updated Facebook and didn't have to plug back up until around 330.....

I tried that Hokey Pokey routine of charging turning off etc and batt life seems to be a bit better now. I doubted it at first but glad I tried it!

I unplugged at 6am, it is now 5pm and I'm at 50%. LTE connection all day, and I've been using data and gaming off and on today, with maybe 10 calls and a dozen sms or so.

I just have a hard time believing this. My phone at home using wifi while I'm sleeping uses 60 -70% battery. 8 hours at idle with wifi on.

It's true...I'm at 16 hrs now, been online on WiFi since home from work, browsing, sms some YouTube, still over 30%.

I disable services I'm not using like gps, keep screen at lowest usable brightness...

Well there is either a huge quality variation from battery to battery, differences in how we manage apps, or issues with signal switching...

My battery used to drop super fast and I couldn't get more than 5 hrs out of it. I did the whole process of 1) Turn device ON, charge it for 8 hours (or until LED turns green), (2) unplug and turn it OFF, plug it back in and charge for 1 hour (or until LED turns green), (3) unplug and turn it ON, wait 2 minutes, turn it OFF, plug it back in, and charge for 1 hour (or until LED turns green), (4) unplug it, turn it ON, and use normally.
and now my phone has been solid. Almost 12 hrs and my battery is still around 85%. LTE running the whole time, No BS! Now to see if it lasts or if I'm getting ahead of myself.

Agreed, first day was shaky but now is very solid. 18 hrs of medium to heavy use yesterday and had 25% or so when I turned in for the night. I have not tried bump charge yet.

I downloaded an app called powermax works awesome. Before this app I only got four hours on a full charge. Now with it on I got eight hours and still at 80%. Only down fall is no internet while you have it on. But there is a toggle switch it comes with you can just flip it off. While this app is on you still get texts and phone calls

I unplugged my phone from the charger at 5:00 am. It is now 9:17 pm. I still have 70% on my battery.
Voice calls 38%
Cell standby 23%
Phone Idle 21%
Display 16%
Android System 2%

No offense but there is no way anyone is getting 18 hours of medium to heavy use. I have barely seen anyone get 12 hours with moderate use. It's a 1400 mAh battery. It is what it is. Even Verizon's own specs don't support 12 hour heavy use of talk and 4G.

I can assure you that there is not a large difference from battery to battery. All the other things yes but those batteries will be fairly close to each other as far as mah
